Goat gives birth to kids with human features in Yobe [Photos]

A community in Yobe State was thrown into confusion and panic after a pregnant goat gave birth to two kids with clear human features suggesting a man could have had sex with the mother goat.

According to a Hausa social media page called Dokin Karfe, the shocking incident happened in Potiskum Local Government Area of the state which has now been turned into a tourist center as many people who heard of the strange birth rushed to the community to have a look.

Describing the incident as shocking and an abomination, a community leader, Mallam Buba, said it was the first time such would be witnessed and the community will have to undergo some sacrifices to avert any form of calamity.

A youth leader in the area, Idi Inusa who also lamented such an occurrence, said the youths will carry out an investigation so as to discover who could have committed such an abomination and deal with the person squarely.

This is not the first time an animal will give birth to young ones with human features in the country. In 2016, such strange birth was recorded in the Mararaba community in Taraba State after a goat delivered a kid that had a human face, leaving the residents in a state of horror.

According to Rariya News, a Hausa news portal, apart from the human face, the kid-goat also had the skin of a human being devoid of the hairy nature such animals are known for, leading the residents to believe that a randy man may have had intercourse with the goat and impregnated it leading to the birth of the weird creature.
